Ferroalloys production has been the core business since the very beginning of GEMI. In 1999, GEMI became the main shareholder of the major producer of ferroalloys in Poland, which has an established position in the European Union markets (mainly Germany, France, Belgium, Italy and Sweden). GEMI has been mostly engaged in trade and distribution of those ferroalloys and other raw materials for steel production. Having a great experience in ferroalloys business, GEMI has implemented a new quality at the producer’s plant, representing the producer worldwide as a commercial agent and main supplier of raw materials used for the production. GEMI takes part in enlarging production assortment and gains new clients and suppliers what reflects in directing the major of the production to export.
